Wilberforce Primary School Pitch Consultation - Have your say!

Consultation has concluded

Earlier this year, the council proposed to develop a new astroturf pitch at Wilberforce Primary School, following discussions with the local community. The pitch will offer the local community a new outdoor space to be and stay active, and play games including football. We chose the site at Wilberforce Primary School to address the need for an outdoor space in the local area.

As part of the proposal, the council has made assurances for the pitch to be managed and supervised by a trusted community partner, and that it would only be open until 8pm on weekdays and 6pm at weekends.

Following initial feedback from local residents, we have adjusted the design for the pitch. While the size and shape of the pitch remains the same, we think that the new position is better for nearby residents. As such, we’re now asking the local community to look at the proposed new design and share their thoughts on this fantastic new facility, which will help more people become and stay active in this part of Westminster.

The consultation period has now ended, thank you for your feedback.
