SW Connects: Linking residents of Westminster & Wellington Barracks

Portraits Connecting was an exhibition that took place across South Westminster as part of the SW Connects project - which supports closer links between the residents of Westminster and Wellington Barracks.

Between June and September 2015, the South West Connects project created three free Pop-Up studios in Westminster. By taking people's portraits SW Connects gives us the opportunity to challenge perceived notions about what people look like. Who is an army family? Who is a long term local resident? The portraits serve as a visual bridge between the residents of those living in South Westminster.
