Regeneration of Luton Street: Final consultation prior to a planning application

Consultation has concluded

Consultation has opened on the final designs for the proposed Luton Street redevelopment.

We are really pleased to have reached this key milestone and encourage you to give your feedback on the proposals ahead of LinkCity (part of the Bouygues Group) submitting a planning application, on behalf of Westminster City Council, this autumn.

The proposals includes 168 new private, family and affordable new homes, a new landscaped green link between Fisherton Street and Salisbury Street, to connect with the planned Green Spine in the surrounding area, and a new public sports and community facility.

The development site lies between Luton Street, Samford Street, Penfold Street and Bledlow Close.

Luton Street development has been a long time in the making and we want to thank you if you have been involved to date. The resident-led Luton Street Working Group and the community have been fundamental in helping the developers to shape their plans.

Overall, the proposed redevelopment of the Luton Street site forms an important part of the wider Church Street regeneration. As one of the first major sites to come forward, it will act as a catalyst for further development and improvements in the area.

Visit www.lutonstreetregen.co.uk to view the proposals and leave your comments.

Consultation closes on 25 August 2017.

Alternatively, you can email: consultation@cascadepr.co.uk, or call 020 7871 3565.

We look forward to hearing your comments.
