Thank you to the many hundreds of local residents who took part in the consultation which took place between 7th September–29th October 2017.

Following the consultation, a consultation summary report was produced and revisions made to the masterplan.

Church Street Masterplan Consultation Report

This report details what public consultation was undertaken, the level of responses and the type of comments received. It also shows how the draft masterplan was amended to reflect community comments and involvement.

Overall:

  • All four quarters received support from at least 60% of respondents
  • 80% showed support for a Health and Well-Being Hub on Lisson Grove
  • 54% indicated support for higher density in the area
  • 75% stated that the current market layout could be improved
  • 63% showed support for an occasional Sunday market
  • 75% of respondents supported a 20mph on all roads in Church Street, only 60% wanted it only in certain areas.

Church Street masterplan

The masterplan was revised to reflect the community feedback. How the masterplan responded is detailed in the Consultation Report above. Many comments were about the detail of the scheme delivery and as such will be used as a consultation evidence base to support the manner in which the masterplan is progressed.
